Middleville’s Robby Enslen, one of the “2011 Players to Watch” here on West Michigan High School Baseball, will be continuing his baseball and academic career at the Division I level with his commitment to Oakland University.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to play at Oakland University” Enslen told West Michigan High School Baseball.
The interest level in the top pitcher/infielder for the Trojans hit a peak this past week with Michigan and Michigan State (among others) actively trying to convince Enslen to commit to their schools.
When all was said and done, Enslen decided to join the Grizzlies – where he is expected to be an infielder rather than a pitcher.
“I love the coaches and the people that I know that have gone there such as (former Middleville star) Kyle Bobolts and (former Hudsonville star) Jake Morton” Enslen continued.
“They are all just great people to be around, which made it an easy to commit there. I am looking forward to being a Grizzly!”
Congratulations to Robby and good luck from West Michigan High School Baseball!
